Things are gaining momentum and I finally feel "Yes! Im back in school!" and im willing to get down to some serious clear up of the piles of work I have accumulated after hols. 7 weeks to Promos! since I havent had a totally 'Singaporean' holiday yet during June as I was either overseas or back in school, im planning to have a FANTABULOUS blasty one after promos i swear. and so, that leaves absolutely zero time for regrets over unsatisfactory results or whatever, so im going to achieve my aims full-force! yes HWEE, JAC AND ANDRE, we are so going to get A for PW! hahah for a start, lets get cracking.:)

Friday was super good, exco meeting was productive and enjoyable! We ate alot, and bought alot also. haha. because of half day, we left school at 12 then went to golden mile food centre. I tried the ever famous Ah balling and the belgian ice cream with waffles. heheh. then went to concourse and following that, spotlight at plaza sing. our final stop was art friend at taka. Under jiawei's recommendation we had Ambush at the taka basement. Ate super alot- I had a Crispy Chicken Parello and apple crumble dessert set. yumyum! oh yes and after shopping a little went over to wheelock. heh charissa and I went to apple. haha im planning a surprise for someone, haha cant wait! some photos are included in the collage above.

The weekend which just passed was a moment of epiphany for me - The solitary dawn run I had at east coast (wasn't meant to be solitary, just that sister was too fast :)) was an eventful self- reflection and a time for goal- setting. I guess I really arranged my priorities on my plate. some things just got to go, and the better things have to be invited in. The first: more time should be put aside for Him. Second: CCA matters Third: Schoolwork Fourth: Music (organ) Fifth: Training for Stan Chart marathon Sixth: Dinners and friends. :( It will be OUR time again after promos again:)) cant wait.
anyway after the run there was college day which was definitely memorable for a year 1 and then I went to town to meet Chara:)) yay had Ljs and then rushed back to SC:) Viva La was fantastic la always wonderful in our eyes:) Esp after Mr Jeow asked how we felt it was, I realized that SC band was always memorable because besides the music making part, it was definitely a place where extra curricular time came 'alive'. we didnt take competition too seriously, it was more of a personal journey between us and the instruments which made all heavenly sounds possible. When it comes to tertiary level, competition is always present, and Im just so thankful that i actually had the experience of not being there. the kedah band also made beautiful music and seriously, they own at making ALL kinds of antics on stage la! Thankew jess, chara and jess's friend ryan for the wonderful company:)

Im not going to be blogging for sometime. I kind of saw this coming haha didnt know it would be so soon though. All the best everyone for exams and more and more challenges ahead:)

Thank God for so many peaceful days, just how amazing can school life get.

On friday as i had to stay in the band room till 6 plus to lock up, i lay on the mattress reading Great Expectations. haha never once had I realised how nice that cosy corner actually was. I fell asleep for most of the time i was there though...oh well, the next time I woke up was already 6.40pm! after all the yada yada and getting people back to remove their bags etc and finally locking up properly, went for dinner with daniel, kash and eric. it is so seldom how we can enjoy the comfort of space in the Thaipan van which came to fetch us! the dinner was great because it was a total release of stress building up for the past week.i really love it when you just sit there after eating and talk rant talk rant. yea. kahsiong was going on about his VS to VJ success story (which eric heard 5 times, haha), daniel and eric was reminiscing upon Dunman days and the funny chem pracs and I was talking about funny things which happened in sc. we were also reminding each other of how we knew each other the first time, second time and third time etc. its amazing because the first time i knew kahsiong was actually in mid sec 4? when I went for the SA tune in. haha my memory is sooo bad. he was actually in the same group as I and even stood next to me for the chair challenge. we were laughing so hard in Thaipan because we were talking abt our 'north south east west' cheer and how i kept nearly falling off the chair and kept pulling his sleeve to save myself. Kahsiong your memory rocks! well, actually all i wanted to say was that, life is just so full of twists and turns, how can we expect anything? just let it come, and deal with it:) easier said than done though!

ive been aching to go back to SCGS to see the new deco with my own eyes. and collect my o level cert! yes! well at least ill be back on saturday evening, SCGS band concert!:))

oh my gosh.. presentation night 07 was just over.
i dont really have much to say about vj performance, thats for Mr Tan to talk about, but combined prac for safari was just soooo =_= my goodness.
seriously the worst performance ever, and mine too.
thank goodness the last song and sunrise saved us a little. but still!!
I dont know why but im probably the only one out of the whole section who was there who is ranting about this now. I guess its not how the audience perceives the performance that affects me, but the sheer remembrance of how i could smell my own hesitation and confusion during Safari really made the whole thing so disturbing.

thanks to so many people though: kristen, xinhui, jiawei, charissa, kash, eric umar and quite alot more i ranted to for giving me encouragement and for the constant reminder ( ).
on another note, if i dont appear in school tmr, its not because i killed myself (as i told many people i felt like doing that) or its not running away from reality, but its just that im not feeling too well physically.

hullo! i feel so so much better now that the weekends are here! haha im such a slacker.!! on thursday night and friday I was such an eager beaver, so unlike the weekdays. supported the phoenix people playing interhouse soccer on thurs- pinrui and jiawei. haha was watching and learning how to solve the rubics cube from kahsiong at the same time. was supposed to eat dinner with them at the end of everything but in the end they played until 7 plus and we were so lethargic and tired, p r went home and the rest of us decided to go home too. jiawei wanted to cab back so dropped me and kash along the way. yay thankew!

friday morning was really funny because me and denise ended up taking a lift from jiawei's mum again from the 55 busstop. the bus timings really confuse me. no matter what time i reach or how early i go, i always have to wait ages, and I always end up in school later than expected. hmmm! school was ok and punctuated by really lame and fun times in the band room haha. but alas on my journey back I lost my wallet! I think it slipped out of my bag or something. although i didnt lost much cash and my important cards werent inside, but i lost my EZ link card. poof. but God IS great and he always encourages us along the way. I got my GP compo back today and it was a great encouragement!

today I managed to go to school on time and actually quite early for band! prac was good and im highly anticipating tuesday's Presentation Night:) trying not to get too nervous although there are A LOT of people i know who are going to be in the audience. after band went to thaipan with xinhui, jess, beatrice, tim and sidney:) then the latter 3 and I headed to siglap for HongKong Cafe's Mango Ice. yum yum!:) then we were all so tired by the end of everything, we cabbed home and I dropped first, then tim then sidney. it was really funny because we were asking the taxi driver to plan our route and he was giving us options and we were dilly dallying in deciding who should drop last. i reached home and read some of great expectations while taking naps in between, which lasted about 2 hours plus then had to get ready for dinner! went to Merryn road to visit Aunty Mary then my mum took us for dinner at De Paolo. the food was fantastic and the ambience super cool! photos will be posted up soon!

Im obviously tired now but know that i have to complete some work if not at least some revision. hmm. if not i wouldnt have done anything for 2 weeks and 1 day. haha. oh well. tmr morning I SHALL wake up early to go to East coast to run and cycle and burn those fats. see ya!

school is always there.
classes are always there.
strangely enough, even though ive been there as well these few days, i feel i havent been there at all.

its been hard focusing especially with the new adjustments to cca and certain groups of people. Falling sick the day before the first day of school isnt something very enjoyable and getting a fever just sitting throughout a history lecture is quite pathetic too!
Even though so, Im sincerely thanking Him for a pleasant week so far, many laughters and crazy roars etc.

In an attempt to improve my body immunity and be more focused mentally, ive decided to destroy routines and start enjoying the unpredictability life brings. haha for example, today was one good day. good for me, but naughty as well so it shant be boasted about here. tomorrow is going to be even better. east coast park for cycling and frisbee:))))

Im anxious for sunday as well, 4 GY class gathering at the botanics in lieu of Earth day!:) ahha

hello!
yesterday was nearly the craziest saturday i've ever had for a longg time. fantabulous un-winding.
in the morning i cabbed down to school with sister. because the cab was going to turn into vj to drop me but my sister wanted to go to east coast, she got down right in the middle of the road when the traffic light was green while many cars were moving. SISTER!?!
then i found i was the 2nd person to arrive for band, which made me quite -_- because i didnt actually need to cab down. but anyway, we had practice with mr tang aka jiawei till 10.30 then we proceeded with clean up. till 3 plus!

had to leave because i was meeting jill to go to GLCC for VIBE!

i slept during the 45 min journey and missed the barker stop!met her at acs barker then went with her for awhile into the barker carnival. haha relived my scgs days for abit. was telling her how i missed the culture! ( even if its not toooo good) but yea. she told me loads of people stories esp of ex sc friends which shocked me quite a bit. then we bussed down to serene and walked to glcc. met chang, jeremy chiawen and cheryl at the counter of the 'restaurant!' haha chang made his own ruby drink for me and jill and it was great! bumped into shaan and jillian tan as well. we ordered carrot cake and Eric (jean's friend) ordered mango moose!

after the mini chatting session I was just so warmified at the wonders God works. VIBE was def a great idea even if it was just a simple thing to get friends and family down. Matthew's designs were great too! WELL DONE EVERYONE IN GLCC:))

at about close to 6 jill and i left and she cabbed to meet her mum while i went back to east coast for band chalet! ive finally learnt how to cycle properly! Praise God! and big thanks to matthew ho, johnson, betty, eric and kash! even though you ppl saw me fall unglamly and screaming super alot, i still feel grateful that you all were around to constantly give me encouragement and help me along the way. the highlight has to be the 20 min cycle to bedok jetty! we (I) kind of emo-ed there cuz quite alot of memories flooded back and johnson was singing jay chou songs!

anyway this weekend is just crazily hectic for me. but it will def will a great one before 'school' resumes. have fun everyone take care and chill out!:)
