ho-ho-ho, here we go

hello world:)

i just got back from jac's house - MAHJONG! with like mama chicken, hweets and jacy:) haha okay its mahjong not MAHJONG! ok cause like if my parents see MAHJONG! they wont be too happy. haha. im in the i-love-the-world-and everything's-that-is-happening-mood now because things are really going great. dad helped alot by sending me up and down for the whole of today, that makes everything so much better esp in a rainy rainy season:) i worked on math for like 3 hours (!!) before receiving hwee's msg! hurrah! so dad and I took a drive to kensington park then we dinnered nearby then it was to jac's house. we played for like 4 hours till we were kinda groggy. but it was so fun!everyone, hwee shouted at jac's sister. tsk tsk tsk naughty hwee. then dad gave hwee and mc a lift home:) and on the way back my dad randomly started talking about toads. and suddenly we spotted a car which seriously looked like a toad. omgosh it was hilarious.
other highlights this week would be the band chalet at east coast and the Christmas gathering at my place:) we cycled so much and i was so slow i ended up cycling with dafril only (haha that makes him slow too) although like a million people were cycling/blading. danny (senior class) suddenly appeared next to me on his skates because he spotted me from somewhere else.managed to catch up with him quite a bit till we parted! ill never forget how nice an angel Danny was because he gave me super alot of gifts and thank goodness he was normal and nice and vj-ish haha:) Christmas dinner at my place was ...how should i put this... magical? my secret santa was Jac!!! hahaa yay. Photos!

hwee's all-time great muffins!!

we look like we're going for a picnic!

polaroids are a blast:)

Mum's chocolate cake which i love so:)
Merry Christmas everyone!:)

i wont say i havent had my share of low moments this holidays as well and its funny because even though the rest of my friends have their own very different set of lives, we all have troubles like that which are parallel in terms of its share of tears, headaches and worries... yet very good lessons learnt.:)

even though ill be studying for the next couple of days, im actually starting to panic because i realised i havent done alot of things an anxious j2 should be doing.. more than 2 months has become less than 2 weeks ><>
Something interesting for you:)
Anonymous: ay actually come to think of it, everyday's quite happening till Christmas Day itself- i like have nothing on on Christmas Day.
Me: haha me something like that.
i realised this is pretty common with everyone! funny!

when crazy takes on a new meaning

reverse this whole day please. =(

***

the aftermath of NSSN and as usual after something you prepare for something and its over, your heart is heavy and you wake up feeling wasted. ok please tell me you feel the same sometimes. even though we suppered and i reached home feeling really tired and already a little sad, i still could not help but unpack my stuff and read all the letters and notes. This is nearly the best part of every concert i have because what people remember and say always impress me and make me laugh and you end up really happy:)

but i guess after i woke up today and went about life as usual, i realise there's been a hole somewhere somehow because of my lack of participation in other areas of my life. :( i quarrelled badly with someone and i cant take it anymore but stay away, honestly, this time i feel like i just want to not care about it anymore but things dont turn out right the more you do it this way. i havent had a serious argument since quite a long time ago, in fact i cant remember the last time any of this happened. im sincerely hoping time heals. this time round. ive reached the stage i rather not say anything to savage the situation, but trust me its not good. hiyah. i feel ive just hit the rock bottom of a good period of time and honestly, ive been wondering when this time would come.

i guess things have been too good for too long. but pray, pray and pray!

update

hello! i was supposed to come online not to blog but just to do other stuff, but i found that i just had to, if not ill just be lost in my own world. I believe that no matter how busy one is, its always important to reach out to your friends and not be submerged in your own world because you might never know, they may be more concerned than we think and we shouldnt keep that distance growing between us just because of differing hectic schedules.:) yay, i just convinced myself im not wasting time or anything:)

this week and the last part of last week have been absolutely crazy, i met up with class girls for dinner and then drinks but now i feel i havent met up with them for ages again! anyway, like what anthea says, what we really look forward to the start of school are the canteen sharing sessions! then it was section outing where i got sunburnt because we were cycling in the thick of the heat on a very sunny day. at night i went for Philwinds at Esplanade with the band peeps and i must say even though i was semi-dreading it and something else as well (haha phy), it turned out REALLY REALLY good, im so impressed with the pianist and things actually turned out beautifully.

we had such a lovely time and i met alot of ac friends i havent seen in years so we talked and reminisced. ahhh. anyway, i cant really remember what else i did because its been just so many things, dont worry i have it all written in my little book so that i remember how my holidays went. haha oh yes, christmas shopping! and hanging out quite alot with my mum and sister. yay:)

haha taken with my sister's new camera. yay.

besides all these news, i guess the most important will be that i have decided to lay off contacts for at least a month.:) so if you guys see me in spectacles, dont be surprised! and yes, i used to wear contacts. haha! this is what happened: I decided to stop usage of my hard/ RGP contacts (this helps to stabilize/reduce your degree of myopia) slightly more than a week back because my vision in the left eye was blur. I thought it was just that i didnt wash it properly throughout the months so i didnt think much about it. But i prayed about it yay Thank God and somehow my mum and I just felt i shouldnt wear it anymore but go see the optician. Thank God my mum also insisted i go to see her eye doctor for a super thorough 3 hour eye check as well just in case. so i went yesterday and hola, ive got this condition called GPC. It sounds damn gross and serious > Giant Papillary Conjunctivities, but luckily mine was discovered in a quite early stage. plus i stopped contact lens usage for more than a week already so its healing :) even though its safe to just stop usage for about 1 plus weeks more, i think ill play safe and not wear it for about 1 month more. yup the only setback is that my myopic level might increase more than usual since its not under control of the RGP lens. anyway, this condition is apparently quite common and is not really visible to yourself becauses its under the surface of your upper eyelid, and who flips their eyelids right, so yea be careful if you are a contact lens wearer!

ok lastly, jiayou to all vj band members! this is the last stretch, dont be discouraged even though __________. this is going to be the last few days we work with the sec 4s too, esp those who arent coming here to pursue your academic interests, we will miss you! haha all the best for this thurday's PAE and its really funny because i think im going to be as nervous as you all are when we all go to the comp labs to check hee.

ok FINALLY, come for NSSN! its going to be a sincere christmas token from all of us haha. contact me for more tickets!:)

love, meiyi!:)

1cm

today was so great because i woke up super early - 9.20. thanks to eric's money message. early but still late enough. thank goodness i managed to reach school at 9.55. haha! had a serious good laugh for skit prac. honestly, i love band now haha and i dont want to spend my time doing any other stuff (excluding religious things of course) ! what a pity i still have the rest of my life to live. haha okay thats a lie. i love life for now, just that i think im becoming more intolerant of people who irritate me etc. which is really bad, like i was telling char, i need to be more tolerant and gracious towards people im not that close to and try and empathise with them when they do certain things i cant comprehend. I was super high today with my spectacles haha because everyone kept calling me tai tai and copying my shift-specs-up action. beatrice was also high, she kept looking at me and laughing during rehearsal and so was benjamin, because he kept going about how i looked like someone i should not mention, since im under a bribe HAHA. and we kept talking and talking gosh i havent talked so much since... a few days ago. haha. had lunch and my table had like char, enghwee, furby, kaikeng and ziyang gosh we were so lame and sigh, im going to miss these times really!after band i left with annabelle to meet class girls at TOGi and yay finally we meet up:) had dessert then headed home with jac. hehe jac! oh tomorrow ants and xinlin are coming to my place for ECONS TUITION yes what a bummer but yea, i guess its really time to start!

and on friday im going cycling with percussion dears and then evening its off to the esplanande for Philwinds Concert. uhhum i dont know why but this is the first time im in the i-want-to-go-but-at-the-same-time-not-really mood for this friday evening. sigh. alot of reasons alot of history. i shall not go on.

anyway...
Christmas gathering at my place! im making the Turkey ah remember! 20th DEC! woots!

a meaningful week

i stole collages from anthea's and abc's blog respectively. pictures from our outing 2 weeks ago, which i didnt have time to blog about :))

on wednesday we had sectionals, warm ups lasted throughout, even though most of the time we girls were being trashed upside down by our dear section leader matthew, it didnt seem that meaningful during the thing itself, but after that it actually was. he said that even when playing simple semiquavers, we shouldnt look to the end of the phrase bar by bar (4 sets of semiquavers) a.k.a. playing horizontally, but we should be impartial to each and every single stroke and play vertically. in addition, words of wisdom from chiawen's blog: Busy-ness or amusement isn't the goal in life. It is doing what counts, one activity at a time.

i guess sometimes we are so caught up by whats at the end we live everyday not valuing it, its really not worth it and thats why "time passes so fast" because at the end of everything, we wonder what happened to all the time passed in the middle of the whole journey we took.

anyway, today was the stan chart marathon! im so grateful for His sustenance throughout because i had stitches (yes, unfortunately i did have) and quite bad ones actually which started quite early into the race. in addition, insufficient training + the heavy leg syndrome was down upon me today. extremely unlucky but i guess thats what made the whole race my own. jean and i were tested mentally and we were really thankful we made it:) we sprinted the last 100m to the FINISH line and then we smiled:))) i saw a couple of veejay photographers, not mark though, odacers!- jac and d, and phy who was the road marshall. i also saw sarah and lydia soo while running! oh yes and we met stef yee and valerie. hehe the adidas photographer also took a photo of me and jean so ill upload it here once they upload it! standard chartered is such a great experience and i'd love to join again next year, but it really depends on whether we can make it after our A levels!
christmas shopping yet again (okay today was my gazillionth day already i think) and i bought another new dress:) met aunt liz for lunch then headed for music class. saw mark leong, joel, aravind and gabriel ( i think) and a lot of random people.

im so tired now, but im so hyped up to do math. wow!

two days

ok its in two days! in order to get more motivated, i decided to read up.

GOOD REASONS TO GET UP AND RUN

There are many good reasons to run. However, there will always be days when you have to force yourself out the door. In those moments, just think about how good you will feel after a run, and remind yourself of the consequences of not going running. After all running is medicine for your whole body:

1) The brain: Running doubles the oxygen supply to your brain, keeping you awake and thinking clearly. Running also increases your brain metabolism which leads to increased learning capacity and creativity.

2) Immune system: Running increases your body's immune system activity which leads to a better resistance against all kinds of infections and a lower risk of cancer.

3) The muscles: Running increases the number of mitochondria, the power plants of the muscle, which improves muscle metabolism. New vessels grow within the muscle to improve blood supply.

4) Heart and circulation: The heart gets stronger and more powerful. The resting heart rate decreases and the heart's ability to recover from stress improves. The viscosity of the blood is reduced along with the blood pressure. Running has the same effect as a mild antihypertensive medication. In addition, blood fat, including cholesterol, declines.

5) The lungs: Lungs get more powerful. Ventilation and blood circulation through the lungs improve. The whole body is flushed with oxygen.

Is anyone still not motivated to run?

craft stuff and glue

yesterday i embarked on my 2nd day of Xmas shopping! with charissa!:)

yes you heard right, charissa lee zhi min(to like the millions of band newcomers: she is not my twin btw, and we do NOT look alike!:)! haha im a lucky girl indeed, busy bee got let off from work super super early! with her fantabulous craft expertise, i managed to accomplish all the purchasing of craft stuff i need etc. headed to bras basah then raffles city etc. we also had a very interesting talk. haha! ok even though she used to be from mgs but she is unlike any other mg girl i know, haha wont elaborate why! hint: remember that im from scgs. haha. ok if you get this hint, then you know what i mean already:) we left by 5 plus for her cello lessons. ok im talking so much abt her because i know she wont ever come here to read.haha!

i managed to buy alot of things i want! hip hip hurray!

anyway, im finally meeting the class girls for lunch tmr! jac got me on the edge of my seat today when she called and my phone was buzzing non-stop during meeting.! being the relatively kaypoh me esp when im anticipating something, i started drifting from the discussion during the meeting and started imagining all the things jac had to say. HAHA. my bad (hwee)! ok i shall stop my rant.

im excited for NSSN, are you?

you should be, because its gonna be great + you will get to see me challenged. haha. because i have to do something ill be worried for many days before that. !

Xmas shopping (1)

First day of Christmas shopping!!:)))
ok this may be late/ early to some of you, but yea, its christmas! ive been gettting into the mood of it largely due to preparation for NSSN! didnt buy alot, but got alot of inspiration!

after that i met Jean for tea after collecting our race packs at suntec, bumped and saw tons of people eg. lemuel, yixiong, tingwei (jean caught him) and lorraine's older brother and dad. I miss lorraine, phone buddy, come back soon!! :)

seeing so many pros and just so many people carrying the race packs made me so stressed! it didnt get to jean but im excited and nervous that i suddenly feel extremely tired and heavy-legged on the day of the race. found out that sheila is going to run the full marathon too, wow, you go girl!:) my aims for completing the race is sub-hour and that seems highly unlikely considering its in 7 days. running has seemed to serve an extra purpose from what i wanted- besides increasing motivation and improving my perseverance level, i have lost another 5 kg plus, dipping my bmi yet again. this is worrying because i havent actually regained the weight i lost during promos and its going down again. plus i look and feel the same. hmm! still eating at macs, island creamery, mahjong-and-eating sessions (!!)etcetc doesnt help provide me any answer to that either. hmmph!

oh well, thank God I didnt fall sick last week as i thought i was going to, if not my stamina would be back to square one after recovery. im very happy im running stan chart this year because it reminds me of two years back, running with ll, jean, shan and lesley. okay tmr, 10km, sub 1 hour please!:) to class girls, lets meet up soon, since jac is back!:) yay!oh yea, more mahjong please!

reverso

yay today i finally met up with jean, jill and chiawen!!! woots!

we have made other plans to meet up in dec (haha yes, we 4 have sad busy lives) at jill's house. and since we will most prob be broke, we are gonna buy food from great world and trot over to her house to cook. yay!
we talked alot, (at least i think i did) haha at island creamery. i shared a sinful banana split with jill and honestly i cant remember if it was that great as reputed because i think i didnt concentrate on registering the tastes because i just kept talking and talking! haha. we didnt take photos and post on the board like how the masses at island creamery always does because we didnt even have a camera. >< at first i thought the photo printer was the camera then jean was "do you actually think this is a camera?" , then we laughed because i realised it was farrr tooo bulky to be one. hahah i always feel like shooting myself when im so blur, well at least the naughty punks werent there if not they would have screamed 'meiyi moments!" -_- :)

we then proceeded next door to macs after about 3 hours. bumped into cheryl tan, lynnshan, changsuo and kevin there. changsuo and kevin joined the 4 of us and we had a really interesting conversation about chia wen!! haha. its times like this which i really miss the old days and the GLCC people! anyway im pretty upset because i wont be able to go for glcc church Uth camp (10th to 14th dec) because of NSSN which is on the 14th, 7pm at VJC PT (advertisement once again.) we will also not be taking part in WASBE JC bandfest this year due to it. wow im pretty amazed at the potential of my already busy schedule, imagine if i had bandfest rehearsals and uth camp and studying and nssn and stanchart marathon and etcetc i have to do (mentioned two posts earlier).

anyway this is pretty random but you know last time in autograph books you will fill in 'likes' and 'dislikes' etc. right? i remember not ever having a strong dislike for anything, but today i just confirmed what i really dislike. i REALLY DISLIKE chee ko peks. or hum sups or whatever you call them. the most decent- looking men at the busstops can secretly be chee ko peks :( To chee ko peks : in whatever shapes and sizes you come in, wherever you appear (at bustops, college, eateries, random places) you are so annoying to people and you should not be one. poof. :( to any boy reading this, you better not grow up to be one, if not you will be the No.1 irritant to many around you! oh yea, have i mentioned, since i cant stand you all, im rather intolerant to you all also, BEWARE!

bye!

when silence becomes music

okay, *cheers* because i didnt fall sick in the end!
the remedy is just panadol, and sleep for like super long. haha.
the week has been super hectic and unlike the week before i didnt have any days to actually rest at home.

The highlight will have to be planning for bindi's and charissa's and yuxuan's surprise birthday celebration on wed at the 11th hour the night before. thankyou enghwee for enduring my stressed screams and ranting then! it was a success because the birthday trio were happy by the end of the day! the fish and co. dinner was also very enjoyable because i never knew the staff there do a birthday rap for the birthday people. haha it was really funny!

okay spot the unglam photo of me (please dont say all i appear in HAHA) taken by daryl's stray camera! :/

ok this is really bad because i cant remember what i did on thursday and friday. hmmph! and saturday was actually successful and fun! we have quite a lot of juniors wanting to join us for NSSN, this means increasing the chance of a more impactful performance. yay, do come for NSSN! 14th dec, VJC PT.:) after that i learnt mahjong from kahsiong at kaikeng at the waterside. yay finally. but thankfully im not exactly addicted, haha if not there goes my R-papers in Jan because ill be able to play it like everyday with so many kakis around. haha. oh yes kaikeng's house is like some ginormous entertainment centre. he has many arcade games (catered for mostly boys, la) and mahjong table and OSIM chair and very good facilities in his condominium, adding on to a very conducive place for taking afternoon naps. i enjoyed myself alot, thanks exco (minus jiawei), daryl (sorry! haha), dafril, shikang, kashiong, kaikeng, junsen and huijin for the company!:)

and yes, Praise the Lord, dear Phoebe is back from Lit trip! Lorraine just left for there and poor jac is still in India, hopefully they have planted our adopted tree in Sikkim already! i sure hope they remember to take a picture with our dear seeds!

Finally, to jillian, haha im so sorry im so caught up with things, ill organise the date ok when the 4 of us can meet ok?:)

x0x0x0x0, meiyi:)

Refreshed

hello all!
yesterday He touched me in a different manner, a refreshing one. Our God is indeed a God who listens, who is willing to try all ways to reach out to you, He understands our diversity, He understands our differences, He knows our reserves. I was indeed proud to enjoy it with Hwee, Eric and Jiawei. To Eric : believe it or not, you weren't there by chance. :) im always so heartened when someone else gets to know Him and experience Him for the first time because that person just doesnt know the amazing journey he/she will be embarking on.
because we reached home late after supper-ing at the Grapevine (which was very enjoyable!), this morning as expected i couldnt wake up by 6 to go running. hmmph. but its ok, i slept in and now i dont feel like im going to fall sick (as i did yesterday).

I just got an idea for Christmas presents! so utterly excited:) im going craft shopping later after music lessons, then ill make a trip to East Coast for a hopefully 6 to 7 km run. HAVE to run 10km by 2nd december. oh no!
Next week there are going to be so many birthdays to celebrate, im pretty excited!oh did i mention, im going to try my hand at baking a birthday cake too ah! haha.

What i want to do next week:

1) Finish 3 chapters of Math
2) Finish more of the Sudoku book i have been clinging on to for a month
3) Watch Scott Fitzgerald's Hallmark show Wed: either 10/11pm, not sure
4) Watch Heroes on Channel 5 (yea im slow here, dont want to watch them on sidereel!)
5) Print my photos for photo essay at mum's office and start on it
6) Complete ALOT of band stuff : individuals, sectionals, meetings
7)tanning, swimming and prob gyming (i cant believe i need this to play properly)
8) sell more NSSN tickets
9) Meet up with Lorraine, Jean and Chiawen one day of the week next week
10) Meet up with class girls : LITTLE INDIA!
11) Housework!
12) Run like 4 times next week and reach 9km by the end of it.
13) Make sure there's a successful Tune-in on Saturday!:)
14) Start on ________'s Christmas present, and other lovelies one's too:) yay. oh yea not forgetting birthday presents!
15) complete my carmen improvisation for organ!

okay i shall stop here, the restwill have to go to WEEK 4. !

Week 2

the week has whizzed past yet again, eventful and miss-able.

On Tuesday I had such a fantastic time because i spent time with people i seldom have time to and perhaps not for a long while more- priceless. :) LIT TRIP REUNION! :) I met Phoebe at 12 plus in school after band meeting and as usual we had the time of our lives sharing. haha. phoebe is amazing, she is so angelic in everyway, gosh! anyway we waited for shu, then talked alittle to zara and wei-an , before we 3 travelled and talked to parkway to get bubble tea. heard some serious news. O_o. they also insisted i try MOS's frozen strawberry. although i promised jeremy the day before to keep my stomach empty for lunch, i couldnt help it since i was so hungry! anyway we then met mark t and jerry at the bus stop and talked for alot more before we boarded 43 to meet gwyn so that she could show us to her house. on the bus yeowboono, phoebe, me mark and desmond played bridge and seriously, it was really reliving the long bus journeys in UK! it was so fun and i think i upped a notch in my bridge skills cuz thompson was helping me alot:)

its funny how people change in different circumstances with different people. mark becomes thompson when around lit trip people because there's a mark leong as well. not just that, the mark i know becomes a thompson suddenly. haha ok ignore me if you dont get this part. anyway, thanks thompson! we rushed to gwyn's house and watched numbers on AXN for quite a while then i continued with bridge. during the whole session kelly just kept laughing at whatever i was saying it just so felt so 'meiyi-momenty" again. haha! not long after, the rest came - mark leong, nicholas, jinghan, warran, a14 girls and miss chia!

miss chia also brought her friend Aida, who gave us a really insightful briefing on BACKPACKING IN EUROPE/THE WORLD. tips like how to make yourself blend in with the culture allowing for more security as well, stuff that i really wished my sister was there to listen since she will be going backpacking in europe next week inbetween her course at St. Gallens. we had that session for roughly 2 hours, then had the pizza treat from miss chia and mr teo! while eating we relived memories by watching pictures taken by numerous people -danielle, mark leong, gywn, jeremy... after that we watched PARIS JE TAIME. OHMYGOSH. the show was fantastic seriously. displayed in the Films De Cannes Festival, its contains many short stories of love in paris : my favourite would be these:

Natalie Portman falling in love with the blind man. The film starts with Portman (an actress) making a phone call to him and gives a really long poem on lovers breaking up. Before she finishes, he assumes she wants to call it off with him and he hangs up, stunned and disillusioned. then flashes of their live together whizzes past in his head, from the time they met, and how they screamed, studied, laughed etc. by the end of it, all of us are close to tears because its so sad, but then suddenly he is brought back to reality with the phone ringing again. Portman calls again, asking him why he hung up and whether her rehearsed script was dramatic and realistic enough.

The vampires falling in love with each other, where necking suddenly comes with a new meaning... haha.

The old sweet American lady falling in love with Paris, and finally,

the gay- theme one! ok i dont usually advocate such an issue but i have to admit it was sweet:)

we ended pretty late and I announced my photo-essay thing, haha ok guys please do send your contributions to me asap!:) im stressed now, because apparently everyone is kinda looking forward to seeing the essay after im done. haha. have i mentioned? im not really creative OR artistic.. haha.
on our way out, we visited the Japanese cemetery the people who take chinese were so intrigued by because it was in their syllabus. haha. took pictures, before resuming our way to the bus stop. nearly went with phoebe to her og meeting cuz she said anyway ill be crashing her group so i might as well have gone haha but that would be ultra strange.! bussed home with dearest kelly and jerry and yeowboono and the bus ride was just so funny. kelly is always so funny and we were reminiscing about vanessa (pau) and sc and then we both suddenly agreed that both of us had a common view to life- that we value life so much more than certain-mentioned people who took studies to be nearly everyone. hmmm. really interesting!

ok pictures will come SOON:)

Its funny how we got kind of hooked on to mahjong (hwee and mark), xbox (me) and taboo (girls) during the chalet plus considering how we played taboo for like 2 hours on saturday at hwee's, rachel's and sarah tan's party.
Thank you hwee, rachel and sarah for the treat!:)

Wednesday started off with a bang with band but unfortunately, i felt so bleh-y touching the instruments because i feel i have lost touch with it after such a long absence from them. lets hope we all get the hang again soon really quickly. after that i met jac, she had a really quick bath then we rushed to town to meet ants, hwee and mc. mc was sooo cute because she was imitating people doing hip hop moves with her head and all that hahaha! jac and I also saw soo many people dressed up in halloween outfits some were really scary esp those masks with no eyes and all. caught the shuttle bus in thee nick of time because mc spotted it.:)

NIGHT SAFARI WAS SO FUN! haha pictures will be posted after i get them from anthea!
[WARNING: i admit the following is going to be a rant so dont read if you arent really interested! haha. ]

anthea and I were doing so much more then animal-watching though. HAHA. after the trip we cabbed back to jac's place for a sleepover since we finished so late and mandai is so inaccessible for so many of us. we had supper because we were hungry and thus we didnt sleep till 4 or 5 i think.

Thursday-Friday
we also woke up early at 8 but we talked till like 10 plus! then we had prata and ants and hwee went home to pack stuff first. jac and i felt like watching a brainless show like jac's 'model behaviour' and then we ended up watching till we had to rush like mad to get ready to go down to town because jac had to meet her odac-ers to get her india climbing boots. so while she was doing that i met ants again for lunch. we had to 'lure' jac out of the shop and this happened SO funnily. ill always remember the image of jac, shihan and sofian (??) dashing out of the s hop. haha. rushed around again. jac and i are ALWAYS rushing when we're together, though i suspect its me because jac is always organised, punctual and prepared, unlike me. =/ hwee's mum picked us up from paya lebar and then gave us a lift to class chalet. ok class chalet pics shall come up again next time!=D
oh yea, while cycling i met Mr. Johari jogging! how coincidental! :) wanted to go after him (haha) but then my bike's brake spoilt and i really couldnt risk riding it. lol.

Currently:
im so shagged.! tmr is going to be math marathon in the morning to catch up with lost time and then ill be heading to hwee's rachel's place for the party.yay cant wait!=D

I hope YOU are having a wacky holiday too!

flower power tomorrow!

by 8.45 tomorrow, it will be over.
yes, im talking about Project Work.

Unfortunately, im not rejoicing over that because i for one, perhaps one in a million as well, has enjoyed PW ttm a.k.a to the max. really! It taught me much more than practical skills on the computer or bargaining with aunties to print the WRs, but helped me prioritise things and most importantly, allowed me to deepen my friendship with my pw mates.

I shall pray that we do not become over-nervous tomorrow during OP, but use the adrenaline to our advantage. :) Our assessors will be our friends like how the rest of our classmates are, and most importantly, there will be an extra companion with us, being a source of comfort and peace.

I need You Lord.

All the best to all my classmates, Phoebe and A12 people, Charissa, Beatrice, daniel and eric from S41. yay!

sunny sunday

today was such a good day!
church was great even though it was the earliest ever session.
Father Iggy was talking about how we should make our relationship with God a friendship, and not a franchise. Thats so true, i mean honestly, how difficult is it not to question Him when things go wrong. but yes, we shouldnt interfere in his 'business' of doing things but just place utmost trust in whatever road he paves in front of us. :)

Prayer requests (going out to all my Christian friends ):
My PW Oral Presentation on Tuesday, and prior to that, for my voice to regain full strength :/
Thankew:)

For others:
All my peers taking A'Level Chinese tomorrow! jiayou!:)
All J2s, especially steph, and jon muk!:)

Thanksgiving:
My sister got a scholarship! Though im not really sure what its for. haha.

vjcsb:)

ok im going mad because almost every band person's blog i visit, apparently we are all band-sick. yeah seriously. I think i have to agree with Dafril (furby! haha) on him saying that vjc is really like a Gatsby party. hyper only on certain occasions, and pretty the opposite during normal school days, (of course not if im with the band people or class girls!:)) he's also right on how band is the epitome of fun. hhee oh yea i also koped a photo from his blog taken after the great butterfly concert in HCI.

Spot me!:)

... ok im supposing you've already spotted me haha.
phy is the strongest! she is willing and able (haha) to always piggyback me when im too small to be seen in pictures or when i want to see things from the top. haha.:)

maybe the stars arent blind after all

okay i think this is so random but yea I think this has to be my favourite phrase " the stars must be blind!". I remember laughing so hard when our LYNX vice- cap danced on stage saying that with the super bare costume.
haha! anyway im so proud of everyone! anthea is asst. og head! (anthea im SO excited for you:)), and faizah then pinrui became og head of another. i think im surrounded by really charismatic and super easy-going friends in school im so happy they exist:)
Another thing im really thankful is how fun- foolproof our dear band room can be. at ANY time during ANY day you can count on stepping in, only to be cheered up 'TTM' (to the max), or in as according to daniel and jiawei's definition, Tai Tai Men (charissa and I :/) instead of heading out of school after PW as previous days, i had to lock up today and went into the room. Only then did i realise why on earth had i so much time to emo and write posts like the previous one. haha. anyway, have i also mentioned that the room is so equipped with so many things! any games, including PSPs and laptop, a soccer ball, curtains and a changing room, even mattresses, blankets and pillows and soft toys. first i played monopoly (!! yes, haha) with phy, kash and kaikeng. then I played bridge with the latter two and daryl. Then I moved onto do a stoopid series of things enghwee forced me to which was ultra embarrassing! ok then I played minesweeper with pinrui. after that phy and I nearly burnt our butts while watching the guys play basketball till they were chased away by the Pe teacher because they were not wearing black shorts (!!). Finally we went back and played Sudoku for like 2 hours with a lot alot of people. we teamed up and phy and kaikeng who were on my team (or rather I was on their team because im so slow at the game :/). its super fun when you do it in a huge group and make mistakes and have to erase EVERYTHING sometimes. anyway it was quite funny because so many people were piling on top of each other on the carpet around the small Soduku book and when charissa and jiawei entered the room after their OP prac, they were so shocked and jw even said "wow, you guys have such life man, Sudoku!!" HHA. in a blink, it was nearly 7pm and phew luckily i manageed to lock the room before then. Then kash, phy kai keng enghwee and I went to parkway because kai keng and I wanted to eat beef noodles, but uponreaching, the beef noodles were already sold out! dinner was SO funny because of dear enghwee who was cracking up with so many lame things! I was stricken with a laughing attack that I didnt even notice brown mouse (annabelle!) who was standing infront of me waving until some time after! haha sorry girl! Kai keng was the champion because he was shaking so badly, and nearly couldnt finish his meal! ok after that kash treated me to fried ice cream (because i was broke :( and it was super scary because suddenly this guy stood in front of us and said HI! and even after he walked away he kept pointing at me. ooh. haha. it was also so hot so we went for a mini shopping session at parkway. haha. okay im back home and im blogging now after doing an hour of math. yay. im finishing one chapter soon. haha im going to do well for R!!! yes:))

im quite excited for xmas! we are playing the exchange-xmas gifts thing with our class girls and haha I got an interesting person to buy a present for. lol! cant wait for the many chalets too, band pracs (finally!!!!) the end of chinese As for many, OP for many and this spells more and more and more outings. :) yayy. oh yea, surprisingly, halloween is going to be pretty interesting, though im still not sure if i can make it to Night Safari with hwee ants and Jac on halloween night! :))

:/

thankew everyone for being in the 'cheer up' mode for me today. :)
I think those people i was talking to/ smsing/ msning did effectively cheer me up because none of them said "dont think about it" or "forget about it". Honestly i get quite irritated when they say that because when im complaining about something means its obvious that its getting on my nerves and im not nonchalant about it (which is usually how i am to almost everything around me) so yea. being surprised/ sharing the same reaction as me also helps ALOT. haha ok i admit im demanding towards consolers (if there's such a word). and yes ill only accept words of deep truth ( something which i know is also true) if you're really close to me/ no matter how hard you try, you just dont piss me off. 100 marks goes to those few who actually asked me out to give me a treat. haha, i guess that will be how I chill out after being irritated/ shocked which i was feeling today! anyway i think today ended well. because hwee and i went over to jacpot's (heh!) house then walked and walked just to get bubble tea. we then cabbed back to hwee's and dad fetched me from there. i came home and was still feeling kinda irritated so i actually did like 2 hours of math. haha. doing math while being angry REALLY works for me. gosh. anyway it pays to do math because that kind of smile on my mom's face was just priceless. haha.

and yes! why do guys always have to drink when we have ANY gathering! please it is so terrible when you people get drunk. gosh. and after that you all do weird stuff and make us so irked with painful images etched in our heads. eeeeee haha i hope thats not going to be repeated at the upcoming chalet. !!.

haha ok, finally more comments on my class girls esp during chinese. haha. but, some sidetracking before that.

when we are happy

Friday
when we are happy (happier than usual), we go to Astons after school for lunch. I eat steak and laugh at St. John's (!!). We also laugh at 'zouk' and take pictures. Then we go to hwee's to watch movies. sisterhood of the travelling pants was nice! I cry at the sad parts even though I am secretly happy by the end of it. I dont mind taking long bus rides home after that because im not tired or busy. I watch 'history boys' at home and start missing UK again! thanks hwee for lending me the vcd though!

Saturday
when we are happy, the group of us go out and eat pepper lunch the next day. we all eat the same thing because the rest gives jaclyn a diarrhoea! we bump into brown mouse with her hockey girls too! we then catch a drink and puff at coffee bean while discussing pw. we are happy doing it because it promises a happy future for us. i bump into adelyn too. after discussing, I meet mum to go shopping for her shoes and buy the heel-grip for my sneakers. we were supposed to go to Jones Grocer but i guess that will have to be next week!

when I am happy, I thank Him for His grace is sufficient!
enjoy your holidays (besides loads of pw and cca) everyone!:)

The Past

Its good to look back upon your past sometimes,

1) I really miss and appreciate my ex- scgs teachers. I guess it was because of them I love sc alot. Almost all my female teachers were extremely motherly, those who bothered about you not because they had to, but because they cared to. They cared to scold you for nearly an hour because you said "shit", cared to call you from far away because your shoelaces were untied.
2) I miss the mee-pok man. Food plays a large part in my life, and i really miss the mee pok i dash for everyday at 10.30am (along with shan and lorraine):) i remember how i dreaded taking the detour to not step on the grass because i was a preeefect while lorraine and shan will laugh at me gleefully because i would be the slowest.
3) i miss jean, lorraine, shan, lesley, majella, ally, becky, camille, chiawen, qian, pau, chara, eunice and jill alot!
4) I miss those talk about kim-gekness, sitting properly at the porch and donning our uniforms appropriately. I feel im super not kim-geky now, which is sad considering how much our principal always used to drill it into our heads.
5) i miss assemblies, i miss meetings haha i miss so many things!

<3 scgs:)

:)

its amazing how after my last post, everything just started picking up:)
realised that i have just so many role models around me. the last few days have been spent mostly with my PW group and I daresay it has been really fun! One thing ill really miss abt PW is working with jac and hwee:) you are both awesome guys:) even though we are all falling sick now with the same sickness... sore throat and fever, we shall still press on!:) we had the full day off from school today! so jac and i bought lunch from pp then headed to hwee's place for more PW. haha jac, we were super aunties to the max! haha:) however while i was doing my part of WR halfway, i seriously couldnt take it and fell asleep. i ended up monopolizing hwee's bed for abt an hour according to jac, haha!
after we were done, dad fetched me and we had dinner. its been a long time since i had the dinner just with him. haha. anyway, im running stan chart! haha im taking over ll's place! yippee so ill be running with jeanie woonie:) i miss you!=D
just read jean's post on the sc friendships, i really agree with her and it was rather touching;)

i love friends<3 haha.

the more you do, the more you can do

CDEEE to DDDES. hmmmph!

my head's pounding now and i just feel like going straight to bed, but i still have a gazillion things to do. its times like this when you wish you could disappear from the world just for a few minutes and chillout. i admit, i haven't been able to laugh genuinely since monday till today because things are absolutely trying and dreadful. In essence, not really happy, like how I usually am you know! I mean im still laughing at the really funny things my lovely friends do and roared at vera's Mr. Sinister impersonation with sound effects and all but i just feel so unsettled! with the little precious time i had with ______ today, (name not revealed so as not to exclude you!:)) we only had time for a one-way thing, i mean i was advicing and consoling like I was the pro of such situations, but honestly i wanted to say SO many things if I hadn't to tear myself away! im not happy not only because of my own pek- ciekness but also because of so many sad things happening to other people! scholars sent home because of unsatisfactory results, people losing scholarships (!!). Almost everyone is also telling me to go ask (beg) for 1 more mark (haha) so that i can pass math and skip doing the R-paper in January. Honestly, i never thought of doing that and am not. That's just because I know i deserve it! lets not talk about attendance during lectures moreover spiritual attendance during tutorials, but also the empty/lost tutorial questions and blank promo practices! What you reap is indeed what you sow in this case. But those who aren't reaping what they have sown seriously top the tragic list! I appeal to you to review your studying technique or maybe get some help..., more help! In my case, im already truly grateful for such a mark that will make me "aiyah! if only i studied one more topic, then can pass sia!" times infinity! haha.

I guess only then, will i force myself to clear up all the crap from jan 2007 and work on it till, i promise, im going to get at least a B for math R - paper. daring, but yes! its a promise eh! Im really grateful for so many pillars of strength in example if not in words and mere friendships - 1) my class! boys and girls! individually you are all really nice and I appreciate it! 2) my family! my dad for taking extra effort to pick me up from school today:) sister for reminding me: the more you do, the more you can do. 3) band-its! honestly, ill lead a rather sad life if not for all of you! ok this can go into a super long rant.. so i shall save it for next year's farewell post or something :( 4) Daddy God. :) ' My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness' - 2 Cor 12:9. I broke into tears just immersing myself in the beauty of His words and this is my sure fave. He is just so powerful and so amazing! Praise God! Because of this sure pillar of strength, I am able to apparently inspire some friends who are sad over B when they wanted an A, some who got 75 but really pek-ciek because knew they could get 89 etc. without shooting myself and wallowing in self-pity when contrasting to my own!

This post goes out to you all, lets not feel down/ dissatisfied anymore! Lets get into the groove! By the way, im rooting for the full day this friday too Mr. Principal!:)

there's really so many things to do after promos but i dont know where to start.
results are just -_- please give me a break. ok la ok la, i shall not work during the holidays to earn extra cash. i shall work on math ok? My mood's really horrible now, yes meiyi does have horrible moods! except she doesnt really show!

Anyway I shall use this excuse to say this now, yes. If my status is 'busy' on MSN, i expect you to know that im really busy a.k.a if i want to talk to you, I will open a convo. You dont open a convo, without asking if im really busy or not, and start telling me all abt monday to sunday. ok please, thats what the statuses are for? if i say im 'away' then just assume im not lying and i am watching tv or something, dont start talking and when i answer, you start asking if im avoiding you. hello? finally, if im appearing offline and im talking to you, please dont ask why.

ok i got this part off. i appreciate your understanding.

anyway i was kinda ranting to jon muk abt school life and this part was really funny. meanie! lol.

Cycling and Me.

i feel like an injured bird now. a fatigue but happy one :)
yesterday was madness. a secretly self-planned 2 hour cycling episode turned out to be a FIVE hour cycling trip from one end of east coast to the other end (4.5km), to Changi Airport (10km) then Changi Beach (14km) and finally Changi Village (a gazillion km).

the very FIRST time i learnt cycling (which was during a bbq at east coast), i immediately went night cycling. Jabbing through bushes and plunging down slopes never travelled before. I fell so many times, with a shriek scream/ cry preceding each of them. yesterday, on my 4th attempt cycling, we decided to venture further- past cut out bicycle paths, till walkways and even roads. at 4 plus we were only on half of journey to our final destination (changi village) and I was really doubtful I'd make it there and back to our start point by 7pm. benedict kept asking me if i wanted to turn back then because firstly, strength was a challenge, secondly by sunset those roads we travelled would be completely dark as there were no street lamps. Just go, just go! I kept saying to myself (and benedict). I kept losing my balance suddenly and not being able to steer straight partially due to fatigue and due to fear. I remember fearing those big drains at the side and imagining what would happen to me if i didnt dodge in time. Amazingly, everytime I harboured the latter thoughts, there would be no doubt I would end that stretch with a scream and being on the brink of tears. everytime i imagined my bike getting stuck in those fearful big drains, the bike handles would head towards those monsters. On the other hand, if i didnt think anything of them at all, I would be on top of them, smoothly gliding through the rough patches and even winning over those dreadful 'tukus' ( big fruits which make you fly from your bike if you dont grab your bike hard enough). it sounds dramatic but at certain points, i seriously stopped halfway while going upslope because my thighs had ZERO energy bars left - and so, not being able to take a cab back because someone would be burdened with my bike, i prayed. I prayed for sustenance and perseverance, i prayed for everything i was lacking in. This wasnt meant to be a testimony... but i realise almost everytime i blog it turns out to be one! He never leaves us and never allows a space between us and Him like how that margin always widens among human beings...truly He is amazing. On top of this, i learnt so much about myself. Full of self-doubt I am, and a vast potential of rather unpleasant imagination. Even as a child, when my mum attempted to teach me swimming, i would just sit at the side, convinced there were either sharks i wouldnt be able to escape, or convinced that i would drown.

Besides biking, there's math. I got a really good trashing out from dear Lorraine yester-yesterday while talking to her on my way to ecp. she was really shocked when she heard how i was struggling with math now and she was right how i was influenced from the arts fac mentality. After hearing that and pondering upon its truth, i really wanted to shoot myself. Whats wrong with me! I mean, after all the papers, math is undoubtedly going to be my worst judging from how much i even attempted. And i surely wont forgive myself once i get my paper back because lorraine's words will ringg in my head. Im glad im regretting now at least, because im not going to regret next year. too early to make a new year resolution ahh but heck 1) im going for ALL math lectures. 2) im going for ALL econs lectures. yeay.

OK, guess I need to do some serious thinking huh. just read lesley and bev's blog. they are still as sweet as ever and they make me miss SC so much now! just read how bev says how her portfolio is intact with so many dance/ drama programmes she has to do, and then how she just needs to focus on her results for now. Then i started thinking of myself - OH NO! seriously. haha. ok, i need to be more aware, more focused, more goal-orientated. C'mon! hha.

the next thing i really wanted to say, was the revival of meiyi moments!
haha was cycling halfway ytd when xianyong was on the opposite side and was blading. i didnt see him but he suddenly shouted "meiyi moments"!
so many besides the a12 lit trippers who are ultra familiar with this term (haha,) still asking what it means! hha.

Top funny convo:

daniel: where are you!
me: here, under a coconut tree!
daniel: which coconut tree sia! you not scared coconut drop on your head ah!
me: oh yea. ok where are you? raise your hand NOW.
daniel raises his hand*
me: i see you i see you!
daniel: aah a group of people just walked past and thought i was funny la, suddenly raise hand!
me: yay haha!

***after a few minutes

me: ay, where's your bike?
daniel: i dont have a bike?
me: huh, but i thought all the vs guys (in band)had a bike!
daniel: ... im not from VS!
me: oh yea!.. heh.

photo essay!

With credits going to dear Ms. Chia,
all her mysterious talk before our awfully missed UK & France Trip on something called a Photo essay has given me inspiration to create one for myself. A library of memories from every single event which took place during our trip starting from touch off to touch down. Its going to be hard, but yes I guess thats what going to make a memorable study break for me. Thankfully I kept a travel journal and wrote in it faithfully during long bus trips or after suppers in the hostels and hotel rooms, so its going to help me alot!

Today after my music lesson I checked out a fresh shop in plaza singapore and got lots of inspiration! Inspiration for scrap-book making! although i wanted to buy the whole set off the shelf, i was contemplating a guaranteed pretty pretty scrapbook and photo essay or to do it the meiyi way (risking mass destruction) and making it in my flavour. i chose the latter, so to those people who im going to show it to, haha RESERVE YOUR COMMENTS! :))) haha just kidding.

Have i reminded you how much i miss UK and France? I miss every nook and cranny of especially UK! some people say its dull and stifling, but i love it to bits haha. meanwhile, my hopes of going to New York and performing at Carnegie Hall are going down the drain... i cant help thinking of the responsibility of having to go with the band and performing at World Famous Carnegie Hall, but at the same time its highly impossible! it was made even more bleak when my sister got her exchange place in Switzerland St. Gallens for Jan till April (??) 2008. It was a 4 in perhaps a 1000 possibility and my sister got it! haha im genuinely happy for her but its more apparent that i wont be able to go in March now because that means ill leave my dear parents alone, plus they forked out quite alot for my trip this year already plus i cant help but agreeing with my mum how 2008 should be the year i settle down etc. but then again, we're going right after cts in march so its like relaxation period anyway. sigh! ok i shall lean on Him and see how His plan goes:)

onto more, its has been an amazing food fair for my stomach. haha. the 7 kgs are on its way man! not forgetting the sinful Dempsey Rd P.S Cafe visit i had 2 weeks ago, yesterday we went to the The Old Bali up Lock Road (near ikea) to celebrate mum's birthday. then today we had more international buffet lunch at Sheraton. haha ok ok more food talk tmr:)

day 3

happy birthday mummy!
quite a good birthday for my mum already even though its just 57 minutes into her day! haha my sis ordered a bouquet of amazingly beautiful flowers for her! ok im not really a fan of flowers ok but this one's really nice.

1) haha thankew mummy for sending me to school when im late (which is pretty often haha) even though school's so near. :)

2) thankyou for standing on your feet in the kitchen for so long almost every night just to cook dinner for all of us:) your culinary skills are the best!

3) thankyou for having coped without a maid for so long. haha even though i still dont really get why you are so distrustful of them! haha they used to take real good care of me (i think)...but of course they cant beat you!

4) thankyou for trusting me in almost everything i do! yes rest assured that trust wont ever be misplaced:)

5) finally, thank God for You mummy!

HAPPY Birthday Mum! cant wait for celebrations!

haha and on the behalf of my mum, i would like to thank matthew and benedict for wishing her too, heheh my mum's so popular!:) hehe.

Day 2

day 2 of celebrations.
i have been feeling really trapped behind my books ok!
was so shocked when i reached home to see so many science fac people on msn. why arent your out celebrating! haha anyway, this morning i woke up at 10 and was horrified because i was supposed to meet ants, jac and xinlin at that time! but after i got up i remembered it was my mum's birthday tomorrow!.and not having a maid means we have to settle the weekly chores ourselves! so I decided to do housechores first to make her happy heheh so i kinda pangseied the trio. sorry! had quite a good workout and am very happy because my room is squeaky clean now. was cleaning and listening to hairspray! haha. anyway, cabbed to hwee's and it was really fun chilling out with you all! we watched the song sisters and loads of friends episodes and some karaoke.:)) after that went with jac to get bubbletea from pp then headed home:)

and im utterly shocked. i lost about 7 kg during promos. (!!) and i wasnt even stressed. haha. imagine if i was actually stressed. strange. oh yes, i cant join the band people at east coast and bbq at kai keng's because we will be celebrating my mum's birthday instead. yay holidays for me till next thurs! need to think of some great ideas for open house though!:)

Thursday, 27 September 2007

yayyyy.

its over!haha although as i said its just 3 days of torture, but it can kill ok haha.
today during lit, I was SOOOO bored. seriously. please, at least give us an interesting passage to write on can! like how Phoebe said how she was cringing at what she was writing, i was feeling so ridiculous writing on the theme on how an eagle and a hawk were feeling superior over Mankind. wow. then like what Vera said, she just made up her own story. thats what i did too, just said the folly of mankind - creating that kind of circumstance themselves, not doing things our way but instead submitting to idolism etc. anyway i just felt so bored. no idea why. hahha exams are supposed to get your heart pumping and everything but yea. for this exams, during history and math i was just so bored i just laid down on my table while writing. Phoebe anthea mins and I burst out laughing when the rain just got louder and louder. i was worried for the vj roof. haha!

i always think how bleak the future is for arts fac people. like how come so little people get 4 As! haha its really discouraging thinking how unlike science, how much you mug does not determine what you get. all you need is a weirdo passage and wheee.. there goes your grade. Spare me from SEA history also, so ultra boring haha. Im thinking of dropping one sub to H1. the funny thing is that i want to drop to math h1, or sea history or half lit and i suspect im going to take ages to make a decision. sometimes i think if im really not cut out for studying. haha i guess i really took a long time to doubt my studying abilities. I used to be "conscientious" in primary school and up to sec 2, but after that everything just took a plunge. i dont really know why! oh yes, and when i reached home i counted the marks i attempted during math paper.and oh my goshhhh i only did like 44 marks worth of questions. sheesh -_- its not fair how hard they set the paper! and im not saying this just because i couldnt do it, its verified by jon muk (RJ) and other people who did other schools' prelim papers for prac!

ok, we had a really good time celebrating and tmr's going to be even better:) have been hearing ALOT about what people think about our clique and i really am -_- about it. you really dont know us do you?! its highly unadviceable to talk about people from superficial perspective. please give us a break. anyway i really love VJ! haha do you? i so do NOT want j1 to end. its undoubtedly my best year so far, wins sec 2 in scgs hands down! i love friends and the campus and activities and just how everything works. was telling my mum how Vj really has the healthy kind of fun thing (or at least the mass). chillout by cycling at east coast or having happy happy fun. hehe:) Thank God:)

:)

promos are nearly overr! only lit's left for tomorrow afternoon. i tell you, even 3 nights of torture can kill, i wonder what happened to my weeks of planned schedules for revision for promos, i seem to be studying everything only at the 11th hour (literally).

Econs was ok thank God haha ill never forget how matthew saw PC computer industries and immediately thought it was in a perfect competition market! Math was HORRIBLE though. more disappointing. even though i havent completed transcended the arts fac label of not being able to do math (which is so not true!) and had to do history instead of math the day before the paper, i expected to at least understand the questions. oh well. I love our class girls though we are so similar in many ways especially our math standard! haha! its ok, we'll come in full force next year eh! History was kind of boring because i did one of the questions as practise before so it was just regurgitation. lucky but my right hand was really dying. 4 essays in 3 hours is not that bad except you really have no time to pause and think! i counted, lit hist math econs people have 10 essays to write every exams haha!

you there! please remind me to start preparation for exams MUCH much earlier next year ok!! yea la but of course most of the onus is on ME!

cant wait for tomorrow. 5pm:) PRESS ON entire world of muggers:)

on a final note.

this always happens. facebooking in the midst of engaging in a relatively tough H1 subject- Project work.

but today my itchy fingers decided to click on more links and venture which of course is the term most commonly known as blog surfing.

thing is, im actually thankful for that happening, which is strange, considering Promos are in a few days time. 21 to be exact. considering the skyrocketing grades i need, note: not want, i should be berating myself and feeling disappointed because as usual, i followed no schedule.

im thankful because once again, He intervened. just when i thought i was going back to the person i was last time (history must not be repeated) and actually succumbed to it, He showed me the way again. among the many blogsites i visited, i visited 2 great sites. They happen to belong to two of my friends currently in VJ, and though simple posts, the simplicity of it touched me. I guess it touched me more so because I was feeling, and am guilty.

***

This is something i assume i have learnt before, but i know this is a timely reminder. I guess it wont be only for me, because i know there are some of my loved ones around me who need timely reminders as well.

Before you judge others, do you really think you have the right to?

We avoid people for certain reasons, do you not think if they could help it, they would try to avoid you as well, to minimise the awkwardness for themselves?

We often complain about people jumping to conclusions and judging from outside impressions, why would they, if no such impressions (no matter how much or little) were ever given?

It would definitely be useless to extend my apologies to the few here, because i think you dont even know about it. The thing about me is that, it affects me already even if it was not physically done but merely mentally thought of. Thank you to two of those authors as well. Thank God for bringing me there, for humbling me once again. What use would the Promos be and earning skyrocketing grades if I didnt learn this in time. :)

to those who dont really understand whats going on and think this is just gibberish, you're lucky because such things dont get in your way! (or maybe not so!)
