update

hello! i was supposed to come online not to blog but just to do other stuff, but i found that i just had to, if not ill just be lost in my own world. I believe that no matter how busy one is, its always important to reach out to your friends and not be submerged in your own world because you might never know, they may be more concerned than we think and we shouldnt keep that distance growing between us just because of differing hectic schedules.:) yay, i just convinced myself im not wasting time or anything:)

this week and the last part of last week have been absolutely crazy, i met up with class girls for dinner and then drinks but now i feel i havent met up with them for ages again! anyway, like what anthea says, what we really look forward to the start of school are the canteen sharing sessions! then it was section outing where i got sunburnt because we were cycling in the thick of the heat on a very sunny day. at night i went for Philwinds at Esplanade with the band peeps and i must say even though i was semi-dreading it and something else as well (haha phy), it turned out REALLY REALLY good, im so impressed with the pianist and things actually turned out beautifully.


we had such a lovely time and i met alot of ac friends i havent seen in years so we talked and reminisced. ahhh. anyway, i cant really remember what else i did because its been just so many things, dont worry i have it all written in my little book so that i remember how my holidays went. haha oh yes, christmas shopping! and hanging out quite alot with my mum and sister. yay:)

besides all these news, i guess the most important will be that i have decided to lay off contacts for at least a month.:) so if you guys see me in spectacles, dont be surprised! and yes, i used to wear contacts. haha! this is what happened: I decided to stop usage of my hard/ RGP contacts (this helps to stabilize/reduce your degree of myopia) slightly more than a week back because my vision in the left eye was blur. I thought it was just that i didnt wash it properly throughout the months so i didnt think much about it. But i prayed about it yay Thank God and somehow my mum and I just felt i shouldnt wear it anymore but go see the optician. Thank God my mum also insisted i go to see her eye doctor for a super thorough 3 hour eye check as well just in case. so i went yesterday and hola, ive got this condition called GPC. It sounds damn gross and serious > Giant Papillary Conjunctivities, but luckily mine was discovered in a quite early stage. plus i stopped contact lens usage for more than a week already so its healing :) even though its safe to just stop usage for about 1 plus weeks more, i think ill play safe and not wear it for about 1 month more. yup the only setback is that my myopic level might increase more than usual since its not under control of the RGP lens. anyway, this condition is apparently quite common and is not really visible to yourself becauses its under the surface of your upper eyelid, and who flips their eyelids right, so yea be careful if you are a contact lens wearer!

ok lastly, jiayou to all vj band members! this is the last stretch, dont be discouraged even though __________. this is going to be the last few days we work with the sec 4s too, esp those who arent coming here to pursue your academic interests, we will miss you! haha all the best for this thurday's PAE and its really funny because i think im going to be as nervous as you all are when we all go to the comp labs to check hee.
