five loaves and 2 fishes
this morning i recieved a BIG yellow construction paper from my Angel (s). the source is SO dubious - so many different handwritings (of which some i can so recognise who it belongs to!) and why do i even have so many angels! its supposed to be 1 right. argh, stop tricking me! haha. thanks for the nice sketch of me though. :)
was chatting with hwee and nathaniel yesterday and gosh doesnt it seem coincidental that everyone seemed to be on the topic of leadership and stuff like leading people etc. I guess only after quite a number of years have i finally confirmed what kind of leader I am or what i want to be. You can only have it one way, to me, its really just being yourself but bearing in mind other altruistic purposes. He asked me to be honest, and so i was, the reality hurts sometimes and trust me, so many more than just me will really respect those who accept it with understanding and grace. so there. Im so sorry if you dont understand what im talking about, but rest assured i havent gone bonkers yet because i know if any of these particular 10 odd people came across this post, they will know what i mean, and it goes out to them. :)
i also have a checklist i look back sometimes to make sure im on track, since im a man with so many flaws! This is what the checklist says:
Intrapersonal Qualities:
1. Self-motivation?
2. Self-regard?
(Self-confident and self-accepting, based on an accurate understanding of one's own strengths and weaknesses)
3. Integrity?
4. Emotional Resilience?
Interpersonal Qualities:
1. Communication?
2. Establishing Relationships?
3. Teamwork?
4. Leadership?
easy as it sounds, its not easy to have it all, esp, intrapersonally and in all areas in your life. big shoes to fill, but i guess thats what life is for isnt it! we are young and able, and we have Him, push on friends!
N.B especially to those have problems seeking self motivation (during this gearing up season) , to motivate and inspire others.
