raindance!
mass dance at suntec was great! if im not wrong i think i had more fun than last year! the more memorable things are me staring at vera and laughing and not being able to talk because if I did we would just be drinking rainwater. it was pouring and there all of us were, some j2s and most j1s, stranded, having nothing else to do but being drenched in rainwater dancing and cheering out lungs out.:) yuxuan and I finally succumbed once to the choo-choo train but it was so dangerous because i was wearing slippers and the floor was so slippery. many band ogls came to join us instead and i can safely say we definitely rocked the place, at least within the 100m perimeter ok! many other random people from other ogs or even ex- VS people came to join in our fun and cheering. another funny thing would be when Mr. Chan came and everyone surrounded him and started cheering "full day, full day full day!" then he was "yea can, tomorrow is sunday!". So we intuitively started chanting "two days two days!" then after that it progressed to "one month one month" and finally it became "no school no school ! ". Ha. then he just smiled and left. !!. after taking photos and ending of with last year's OG cheers, we went off for supper. everyone's voices were really hoarse and horrible. shared ice kachang with xuan and then the j2 table started playing alot of those table games till late.
i felt so sick after that because there was band early in the morning, then daryl's house then the mass dance. not enough sleep plus getting caught in rain = not very good for health.
today all our lessons were cancelled and we only had a lit lesson with Miss Chia. so after that we went to east coast to eat at bk, then we cycled. :) as usual i got injured again and sunburnt. haha.
today joshua asked me about j2 life and everything and he said to enjoy this slack part while it still lasts. actually i really am, there are alot of things i want to make my last, for example, cycling on a school day (i.e no more ponning), prioritising and doing assignments (i mean ALL), start being more hardworking and generally more motivated. I have finally decided what to do with my life. Its either Law or FAAS at NUS, or corporate Law at SMU. Im not going overseas unless i cant make it locally, but ill try and go for more overseas attachments etc. in Europe. yes:) the whole group of us missed the deadline for signing up for SATS so i guess ill be doing it either in May or June. Still cant decide which is better.
New York trip has been confirmed - 21st to 29th March. I hope it snows, like it surprisingly did last year!that would be a nice treat. but then again, i cant really take really cold weather. i end up being really quiet because im praying badly for the sun. Im a sun person, cant deny that. we will be going after CTs march hols, which means we will be missing school for those few days. as much as im really excited for the coming year because of so many things i have to do, it in itself is enough for worry. so much planning and organising, work which cannot be neglected. but at the same time i want to live as i did in 2007 - still being around friends and doing things i think is meaningful. Im just praying things will come one step at a time and we will all be fine at the end of the day because what doesn't kill us, just makes us stronger. :)
