2009 has been really kind to me so far, and im terribly grateful for that.

I got not one, but two jobs - both of which are my dream jobs, well, at least dream TEMP jobs - Im really glad i have these opportunities!
The outdoor camp facilitator job will ensure i keep my youth and the sunny side up that i really need, to
complement the rather tough, intense, work-alone travel firm desk job that i cant wait to start too. Never knew being an arts student was such a pre-requisite for temp jobs- going to be writing quite a fair bit, apparently the newest project is something related to Valentine's Day - travel plans, hmmm, should be rather interesting!
Im really glad i didnt bury myself headfirst into those first few jobs i applied for, because i think i had a fulfilling holiday, of which i havent felt bored of, and havent had the "bumming around" syndrome yet:)

Its something we cant choose, but the girls are going to be busy with work and all, while most of the boys are going to be starting army in approximately 5 or 6 days. Its really a byebye to those recesses we've always had, the ponning lessons and slacking in the band room (and also helping each other recognise each others'
teachers haha), sitting on the swing with pocky or something, sitting in the concourse watching people watch gossip girl, omgosh rushing into school every morning because of silly bus no. 55 grrr, a13 sitting right at the back of the lecture theatre (or at least trying to)- although i really preferred the front since i couldnt really see the board properly:/, and so much more i really cant compact here.
Entering VJ almost alone, with none of my scgs recess gang (Shan, ll, chiawen, jean, opy, jess, lesley)especially into the arts faculty was such a challenge for me, plus having been late on the FIRST day of school i entered class with such a apprehensive attitude. Having sat next to the then-i-thought-bimbos (hahaha) who turned out to be my hweets and vee hahaha, the still ever-smiling Edo, plus having to start all anew in cca without any seniors to pave any way for me whatsoever was an insurmountable barrier - but He broke it all down for me, He broke in down into bitesize pieces to be digested over these 2 amazing years, the various projects for me to slowly overcome - a fabulous most cooperative Exco, og, project work group, teachers, cca group, classmates and schoolmates, overseas trips of which i have the fondesttt memories of:) SO MANY MANY MORE REALLY!

We have to say bye to school-life, but i dont think ill stop missing it for quite a long time more, okay i really think im going to cry soon, so i shall stop talking about it! :(

Gotta say bye to the holidays too, although i still think the late nights are fine:) heh the thomson pratas, the rock band/guitar hero, the arab street, the dancing (although not trance please), the chilling out and family time (for my family the peak family bonding time is like 2 to 3am hmmm), i think its fine just as long as we dont become vampires/zombies in the day. although i think when work life sinks in, we gotta have an increased sense of responsibility.

Im ready for that, and im going to start early for BTT, going to pass it!

okay i just had my break - we have some Japanese family friends over for lunch, im following my sis down to see her office for fun then my family is going to another family friend's place for dinner and then supper. ahhh. like a friend told me i should be really glad i have such a "united family" hahaha, since his relatives are all dysfunctional. hmmm!

GTG, hope you are all having a great start to 2009 too:)
