Sometimes I think I blog too much, but I think its almost the second most therapeutic thing, next to running (non-competitively and without a watch to check the timings, mehhh). Oh yes, having a meal alone in the confines of your own quarters ie. room, living room at home has the same wondrous effect.
I'm getting too little alone time, too little ME time. I'm getting a little burnt out, and numb to things, a little too jaded, for Week FOUR. I'm also relatively ill-informed about the world. So to fix that... today was a bad day for a productive and efficient time management meiyi, but it was a good day for the lazy, chill side of me:D Okay, at least according to my standards.
1) Stayed one extra day at home so I had to wake up at 7.30am to get a lift from Dad back to the West.
2) Came back to hall, did my laundry, cleaned my floor and packed my stuff.
3) Walked up the slope to lecture Nation building with Carol! Sat with Chris and talked about how burdened we were with stuff and how we just.cant.wait.for.this.two.weeks.to.be.over.
4) EL lecture with emily. this is one mod that I have no idea why im taking...but ill suck it up all the same, and do my best.
5) Came back to hall, and instead of doing some readings, I walked to biz and bought kebab rice for myself! + an apple pie! favourite food:D
6) msned with jac in smu stressland:/
7) I was really sooo tired and instead of going for training at src with amelia, I slept in!:D:D:D
8) woke up an hour later, and decided not to be a bum. even though my legs felt like lead, I ran to PGP slopes and did about 6 intervals up the slope. of course, it was slack.
9) came back, bathed and took a walk with lance (who was doing intervals at the mini slope) up to sheares for smu duty!
10) watched a rather entertaining match.
11) back in hall now doing this,
12) gonna meet eng tat in 8 minutes and im really damn proud of this, because finally i will soon know how to map my modules, and things to look out for, NEED MY OVERSEAS EXCHANGE SOON.
13) then gonna mug my head off for lecture off tmr.
14) oh and ive been listening to 93.8fm instead of 98.7:D:D
tomorrow 9-12 its gonna be WMYC planning at ADM, lunch with bryan and clement. then nation building. then WMYC again at 6 to 8. chingay 8-10. study. NEED TO FINISH MY TUTORIAL AND RESPONSE PAPER.
Im quite proud of myself and thankful to God for sustaining me thus far, but right now, I feel like im balancing on a taut, yet shaky string hanging across B block to C block...haha. steady, yet any loss of concentration and i will topple over.
very. precarious. indeed.
Prayers for this week please:
1) Two swollen toes, and a recurrence of my calf strain. Everytime I run, I have extra burden. But my mental has to be stronger than that. just.8.more.days.to.roadrace.
I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow, but I already know what the advice would be: rest. which is for now, quite impossible.
2) Praying for roadrace captain Amelia: down with a shin sprain. Basically our team is in very poor form for Monday's race. We arent supposed to train but its impossible considering how we need to perform on Monday. And of course that people's expectations dont stress any of us out, because they prob dont know how hard it has been...
3) Praying for more runners to step out from their comfort zone and come for the time trial on thursday. I pray that the best from KR get selected and that those arent selected see in their contribution to the team!
4) Pray for my hectic week, that I do my best in studies, USP, hall and keeping friendships alive with sincerity and generosity. Must do this!
5) Pray for my Paper One draft which is Dr. Lo's hands! spent whatever i had of my weekend on it, so i hope it doesnt need serious rewriting:D
6) Pray that I remember to count my blessings more everyday, and that everytime I feel im drowning, to commit it to God and to remember that nothing is impossible.
Alright, going to find Eng tat, have a good week everyone.
5)
